Congrats to Christine Saunders and Jason Schneekloth on getting engaged!
Christine is a thirty something Canadian girl living in Seattle who has worked in the wedding industry for over four years. She is also gift girl for Wishpot.com, a universal wish list and registry site.
She currently lives with her boyfriend (now fiance) Jason, a Microsoft Software Developer, for three plus years. "Everyday he makes me smile a little more," she says. In her spare time she enjoys to shop and sometimes cook. "The shopping I'm great at, the cooking is a work in progress."

The 100 year old Weston ring is a true beauty.
Jason displayed the ring next to this bottle of Baileys for Christine to find. I imagine, it was quite the delicious surprise.

Riding It Off. Seattle, WA, 2011
In my sophomore year at Syracuse University, I was the Vice President for the SU Cycling Club. During the race seasons, I remember trying to keep a disciplined eating plan and strenuous riding schedule. It was tough because I enjoy eating, there's nothing I love more, but it's simply not the cyclist's mantra.
Too often, I've seen over weight riders purchase feather light, fully carbon, lust worthy bikes costing +$10,000. They're spending the big bucks, to shave grams off the latest components, when realistically, they need to burn off 10 or 15 lbs.
Dont' get me wrong, I still have respect for the subject in my photo! At the very least he knows Dick's Burger in Capitol Hill is the perfect place to grab a delicious bite on the go. Granted, he's still going to need to ride a few more miles... flabbiness isnt' very aerodynamic.

Broadway outside Urban Outfitters.

Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of meeting Mike on Broadway outside the Capitol Hill Urban Outfitters. Homeless, I found him tapping away to a groovy beat on his tin can drums. Without missing a beat, he constantly straps a smile from ear to ear.
I'm always inspired, by individuals who push themselves to find that sense of happiness, regardless if they're down on their luck. We had a great fifteen minute conversation about his day and I ended up buying him liter of bottled water to get him through the rest of it. I wish him luck on his groovy adventures
