Seattle's Second Day of Snow
Sledding on Denny Hill
Capitol Hill Seattle, WA

A group of Capitol Hill residents gathered at the top of Denny Hill.

A father helps his son torpedo face first.

A man prepares his sled by applying ski wax.

If you don't have a sled, steal a parking sign.

An elderly man blasts through the crowd and carves down the hill.

Holding on tight!

Friends, sledding, and beer.

Ignore the signs and have fun!

A boy ends his run on top of a cookie sheet.

If you don't have a snowboard, a sled, or a stolen sign...cardboard works too.

Or maybe not.

A boy armed with a snowball.

Victims to his snowy assault.

New arrivals kept pouring in.
