Yes You Can

Yes You Can — Seattle, WA, 2012

I found this young girl, trying to stay warm in from of Holy Smoke on East Olive Way. It's hard having to see the youth living on the streets. Without waking her up, I left her with the few bills I had in my pocket. God bless her and good luck.

These Are My Eyes

These Are My Eyes — Seattle, WA, 2012

I've caught myself squinting more frequently at objects in the distance, it was time for an eye exam. After some research, I settled on Hour Eyes Optical on 534 Broadway. I was impressed with their speedy service and taking the time to help me choose a pair of frames. Dr. Noha Seif, provided me a new lens prescription and took some photos of the back of my eyes.

Gangsters for Christ

Gangsters for Christ — Seattle, WA, 2012

While crossing the bridge on Denny Ave, pedestrians can sometimes see displays of art created by individuals participating in a variety of rehabilitation programs at the Downtown Emergency Service Center.

"The Downtown Emergency Service Center works to end the homelessness of vulnerable people, particularly those living with serious mental or addictive illnesses. Through partnerships and an integrated array of comprehensive services, treatment and housing, we give people the opportunity to reach their highest potential. At DESC, uncommon efforts produce uncommon results that eliminate homelessness, one person at a time." DESC.org
