Jim's Dreads, Seattle, WA—2012

On my way to work Wednesday in South Lake Union, I came across Jim, a kind and gentle soul that was making funny faces to himself by using a car's reflection. I was first drawn by his animated antics and quickly noticed his gargantuan dreads. At about 6 feet tall, his hair drooped all the way past his knees.

On my way to Wallingford on Saturday, I came across a filthy yet colorful group of college students. 

I couldn't help but ask "What happened!?" I found out, the group just finished a late Diwali celebration with their friends and fellow students.
